Delete your account in the Promoscore app
- Open the Promoscore app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings, then Security.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm the deletion request.
- If you are using a guest or anonymous account, open Account and use the visible Delete my account action.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email.
- Send an email to support@promoscore.io from the email address linked to your Promoscore account, if possible.
- Use the subject line: Promoscore account deletion request.
- Include enough information to identify your account, such as your account email, country, and social sign-in provider if you used one.
- Do not send your password or any full payment, identity, or authentication secret.
We will review and respond to your request within 30 days. We may ask for additional information if needed to verify that you are the account holder.
Data deleted
When your Promoscore account is deleted, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with that account where applicable, including:
- Your Promoscore account, authentication data, active sessions, profile, preferences, and saved location/profile data.
- Wallet data such as loyalty cards, vouchers, coupons, uploaded receipts, and related budget data.
- Favorites, shopping lists, circles, household sharing data, and other account-linked app data.
- Other personal data connected to your account that is not required to be kept for the reasons listed below.
Data that may be kept
Some data may be retained when required or permitted by law, or when it is no longer reasonably linked to you, including:
- Records needed for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, audit, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
- Anonymized or aggregated statistics and reports that cannot reasonably identify you.
- Records held by third-party platforms such as app stores, social sign-in providers, analytics providers, or other partners under their own policies.
- Cookie and similar-technology data according to the cookie retention periods described in our policies.
Retention periods
- As a rule, personal data processed for Promoscore account purposes is kept while you have a Promoscore account.
- After account deletion, limited personal data may be kept for an additional period equal to the limitation period for civil liability connected to the services we provide.
- Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent or object to that processing.
- Cookie and similar-technology data may be kept from the duration of the browsing session up to 2 years, depending on the technology.
