1. INTRODUCTION
Our mobile application uses cookies. In this policy, you will find details about what cookies are, the purposes for which they are used and the implications for users that result from accepting cookies.
2. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small text file containing information about your browsing and use, such as a tag that identifies your device, which a website, mobile application or other electronic platform stores on your computer, tablet, smartphone or any other similar device that you use. Cookies are necessary, for example, to facilitate browsing and to understand how users interact with electronic platforms so that they can be improved. They are also useful for providing advertising according to user preferences, as well as for the other purposes detailed below.
Cookies do not damage your computer or the device you use. By cookies, we also refer to other similar technologies used to install and/or collect information on or from your device, such as flash cookies, web beacons or bugs, pixels, HTML5 local storage and SDK technologies for applications.
The term cookie also applies to the use of fingerprinting, in other words, techniques used to combine information that helps us identify your device. These technologies sometimes run together with cookies to collect and store information, either to provide you with certain features or services or to display third-party advertising based on your browsing.
3. WHAT IS THE LIFETIME OF A COOKIE?
Cookies are managed by web servers. The lifetime of a cookie may vary significantly depending on the purpose for which it is placed. Some cookies are used exclusively for a single session (session cookies) and are no longer retained once the user leaves the application, while some cookies are retained and reused each time the user returns to the application (persistent cookies). However, cookies may be deleted by a user at any time through the settings of the device used.
4. HOW CAN YOU MANAGE THE COOKIES USED BY OUR APPLICATION?
Customize your device settings regarding cookies to reflect a level of cookie-use security that is comfortable for you.
All modern devices offer the possibility to change cookie settings. These settings are usually found in the Options/Settings menu of the device.
